What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Proven track record building and scaling high-traffic B2C consumer apps (social, media, or entertainment), with millions of active users and real product impact, Startup or scale-up DNA: you've navigated fast iteration cycles, ambiguity, and aggressive growth you know what "moving fast without breaking things" actually means, Proven experience leading both iOS and Android teams in product-driven, high-velocity environments, Still deeply technical: you can roll up your sleeves, contribute to the codebase, and meaningfully challenge your engineers on architecture, performance, and trade-offs, product and business mindset: you think in terms of user impact, retention, and engagement, not just engineering tickets, Data-driven leadership: you make decisions based on metrics, analytics, and business outcomes, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Design, QA, and Backend

Nice to Have

Expertise in streaming video, media frameworks, and real-time content delivery, Experience with AI/ML integration in mobile applications, Experience with A testing frameworks and conversion optimization, Active involvement in mobile engineering communities or open-source contributions, Fluent in English / French is a plus
