What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of software engineering experience, at least 3 years in a technical leadership or engineering management role, Strong, demonstrable hands-on proficiency with Angular (v15+), Strong, demonstrable hands-on proficiency with .NET (C#), comfortable reading and writing production code, Proven experience managing teams of 10+ engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development, Deep understanding of agile experience working directly with Product Owners in a scrum environment, grasp of software architecture principles, microservices, REST API design, cloud-native patterns, Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD, Demonstrated commitment to code quality, code reviews, test coverage standards, static analysis, Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, clear point of view on how to integrate them responsibly, Experience with Azure cloud services in production environments
Nice to Have
familiarity with DevOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar), Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), Exposure to event-driven architectures or message queuing (e.g. RedPanda, HiveMQ, Azure Service Bus), Contributions to open-source projects, active engagement with developer communities, Experience with enterprise-scale Angular applications (module federation, monorepo tooling), Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries (FinTech, HealthTech, Buildings etc.)
