What They're Looking For.

Must Have

7+ years of software engineering experience, 4+ years building or operating developer platforms, CI/CD systems, or other internal engineering infrastructure, 4+ years of hands-on software engineering with backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js), at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), 3+ years operating one or more enterprise CI or CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, UrbanCode Deploy), working familiarity across source control and artifact repository tooling such as GitHub Enterprise and JFrog Artifactory or Nexus, 3+ years directly managing engineering teams, including hiring and performance management, Experience leading teams in Agile or Scrum environments

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience operating an enterprise CI platform built on GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory at scale, Experience with GitHub Enterprise administration (Enterprise Managed Users (EMU), access management, security governance), GitHub Actions reusable workflows and runner strategy, Artifactory repository design and lifecycle governance, Experience leading large-scale CI/CD migrations and tool deprecations, Experience supporting AI coding assistance and agentic coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) across a large developer population, written and verbal communication with both engineers and senior leaders
