We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals. What you’d be doing in this role As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on: * Leading three Developer Workflows teams and coaching 3 Team Engineering Leads to build a high-performing, inclusive, and psychologically safe engineering culture. * Defining and driving the strategy for Developer Workflows across frontend, backend, and platform engineering experiences at Canva. * Partnering closely with Product Managers, engineering leaders, and platform teams to improve how engineers build, test, ship, and operate software at scale. * Translating developer pain points into impactful improvements across CI/CD, IDE tooling, testing frameworks, developer environments, and platform workflows. * Championing developer satisfaction as a key metric and driving initiatives that help engineers move faster with confidence. * Supporting hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development for engineers and technical lead
