Senior Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Special Projects Dallas (SPD)** is seeking a **Senior Engineering Manager** to lead the multi-disciplined team of engineers responsible for structural design, production engineering, production improvements, shipside support, and affordability in **Berkley, MO**. This position reports to the SPD Chief Program Engineer. **Position Responsibilities:** * Provides engineering support to the AAS Special Mission Pod production contract and the SPD sustainment subcontract. * Ensures that the team has the proper skills, tools, processes, and resources needed to execute Statement of Work tasks. * Collaborates with the Production Operations, Quality, Supplier-Management, Business and Program-Management teams. * Develops and maintains outstanding relationships with external customers is essential. * Builds and sustains a high-performing team. * Develops plans, supports proposals, and executes major cost reduction initiatives. * Responds rapidly to emerging technical needs in the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) pod production factory and in the fleet is imperative. * Excellent communication skills and ensures that external customers and executive leadership are well informed. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkley, MO.** **This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).**(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). * An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required * Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions**.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
