What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of 6+ years of work experience in machine design, Experience in Industrial Automation Equipment and Machineries such as Paper / Printing machinery and discrete product machinery, Good understanding of mechanical functions and principles, Ability to follow a prescribed engineering process, SolidWorks (Must), Familiar with AutoCad 2D, Familiarities with Electrical / Controls / Pneumatics and hydraulics basics, Ability to work in a team, MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Good in design calculations / basic FEA / selection of OEM parts, Conversant with Imperial and metric units, Ability to work independently on tasks and projects, Able to work overlapping hours with the US Pacific time zone, Respond to and address day-to-day production tasks and projects, Successfully meet deadlines and short turn around requests, Will be responsible for design updates and sustaining engineering, The candidate will work with production engineering to release and support in process machines that have been purchased by our end customers, Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities in US/Europe

Nice to Have

Inventor (added advantage), Experience with machine Installation / Commissioning / Troubleshooting, Experience in OEMs preferable, Experience with MBD will be an added advantage, Experience with US / Europe projects and Engineers
