Must Have
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 6+ years of experience in Industrial Machineries and Equipment, SolidWorks (2018 & above), Mechanical engineering design principles, Manufacturing process, Engineering calculations, Calculation and selection of commercial components, Electrical components, sensors, encoders, Material selection, Global material standards, Metric and Imperial (Inch) Design Standards, Servo motor & gearbox selection, Drive calculations, Functional specifications of machines, Replacement of obsolete commercial components, Technical problem-solving skills, CAD modelling and detailing using SolidWorks, GD &T, Tolerance stack-up analysis, Value Engineering, Cost Optimization, Mechanical functions and principles, Prescribed engineering process, SolidWorks (Must), Electrical / Controls / Pneumatics and hydraulics basics, MS Office applications
Nice to Have
Experience in Printing, Packaging and Converting Machines OEM, FEA using SolidWorks simulation, Structural and dynamic analysis using ANSYS, Creo, UG
What You'll Do.
New Product Development
Design of product line variants
Design modifications of existing machines
Engineering Calculations
Detail drawings and BOM release
Perform concept/design/manufacturing reviews
Participate in testing
commissioning and troubleshooting reviews
Perform risk assessments
Acquiring and maintaining knowledge
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Participate in testing, safety, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting reviews with customer; Ability to work as team
