Join Micron’s Manufacturing Planning team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in preparing and scaling our next-generation memory fabs! You will work across Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain to turn complex data into clear decisions that enable high volume production. If you enjoy solving real problems that directly build factory performance, this team delivers! As a Planning Engineer, you will enable production readiness for Micron’s new high volume memory manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho. You will translate manufacturing changes into clear capacity insights, build planning tools, and present data driven recommendations to senior leaders. This role blends technical depth, business impact, and clarity, offering an outstanding opportunity to influence how the site is prepared, ramped, and operated. **Responsibilities:** * Drive equipment availability and utilization to maximize fab capacity * Model capacity impacts of new tools, process changes, and roadmap decisions * Develop and automate planning models using Python, SQL, R, Excel, or VBA * Build and maintain site capacity and utilization models to optimize deployed capital * Communicate recommendations and improvement proposals through dashboards and executive presentations **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field * Over 2 years of experience in semiconductor capacity planning, business analysis, or process engineering * Experience analyzing data, forming recommendations, and presenting results clearly * Ability to work across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams **Preferred Qualifications:** * 5+ years of experience
