Troubleshoot instrument and assay/reagent interaction issues; Determine root cause and solutions; Troubleshoots of parts and subsystems; Leads complex investigations involving interacting system level issues; Guide application of sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies; Identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving system level technical issues
Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time, Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Keyboard use (greater or equal to 50% of the workday)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or closely related discipline, Minimum 7 years of experience, Recognized experience leading complex system and risk analysis, Demonstrated ability to lead and utilize data to make decisions and influence stakeholders, Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thought, Demonstrated ability to apply principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance, Expert knowledge of systems and/or assay development principles and concepts, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Knowledge of Product Risk Management Best Practices and Tools, Demonstrated Customer Focus

What You'll Do.
Apply interdisciplinary
collaborative approach to ensure subsystems integrate optimally
Define critical performance requirements linking to system design
Lead development of systems integration test methods/processes
Troubleshoot instrument and assay/reagent interaction issues
Develop and execute system related verification & validation (V&V) protocols
Develop and execute characterization protocols
Develop and execute simulations
Develop/interpret complex written data package summaries
Develop plans for integration
and reliability testing
Lead team members in application and analysis of optimization process techniques
Design of experiments (DOE)
System Error Budget Analysis
Test method development
Determine functionality and system compatibility of multiple system components
Troubleshoot parts and subsystems
Review and develop FMEA
modes of control for risk management
Lead complex investigations involving interacting system level issues
Collaborate with technical organization to develop and refine system solutions
Manage systems related analysis to assess performance against design specification
Assess system interactions
Lead technical review of complex system integration
and characterization studies
Guide application of sound
systematic problem-solving methodologies
and resolve system level technical issues
Promote collaboration with various systems
and instrument support departments
Oversee establishment
and development of tools and practices
Lead various analyses and cross functional collaboration to optimize total system performance
