Your Impact At DISCO, our cloud infrastructure and system control plane are the backbone that enables us to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients. As a Senior Engineer on our growing DevOps team, you will be a technical leader, evolving and managing our AWS-based cloud infrastructure, focusing on our internal platform and control plane. Your expertise will deliver enhancements to our system's reliability, scalability, security, and the overall success of our cloud-based solution development. Your work will help shape our future cloud strategy through your collaboration with our internal customers, our fellow Engineers. This role is based in Delhi NCR and operates primarily during India's second shift hours to support collaboration with teams and stakeholders in the United States. Typical working hours are expected to be approximately 7:30 PM IST to 4:30 AM IST, with some flexibility based on business needs. What You'll Do Deliver Systems: Engage actively in coding, code reviews, and technical discussions, ensuring high-quality output. Architect Systems: Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance, easily modifiable distributed systems. Optimize Performance: Continuously enhance system performance, focusing on meeting internal customer needs using the best practices for designing scalable distributed systems. Provide Technical Mentorship: Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical & operational excellence, as well as continuous learning. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
