Purpose of the role: Design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure software systems that power Bankrate’s digital products. Senior Engineers operate with strong autonomy, combining technical expertise with leadership through influence. They contribute to architecture, mentor teammates, and ensure that software solutions are efficient, reliable, and aligned with business goals. What You’ll Do: Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems within a team or product area. Contribute to the evolution of technical architecture and engineering patterns in alignment with organizational standards. Build and optimize continuous delivery pipelines, improving deployment speed and reliability. Partner with product and design peers to translate business objectives into actionable technical work. Scope, estimate, and deliver medium-to-large initiatives with minimal oversight. Collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges, dependencies, and integration issues.
