What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of commercial software engineering experience building production-grade applications, backend engineering experience, ideally with. NET / C#, Experience designing and shipping distributed or SaaS systems at scale, Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and modern AI tooling (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), Familiarity with agentic patterns and frameworks including orchestration, RAG, prompt engineering, and tool use, understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including API design, testing strategies, and maintainable architecture, Experience with observability, debugging, and production support practices, Comfortable contributing across the full stack where required (TypeScript/JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks), Experience working with cloud platforms and modern engineering workflows (Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Azure preferred), full work rights in Australia
Nice to Have
Experience building internal platforms, SDKs, or reusable engineering frameworks, Familiarity with async or event-driven architectures, Experience with evaluation, traceability, and operational patterns for AI systems, Exposure to DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, or SRE practices, Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership

This is a senior full-stack engineering role focused on delivering production-grade AI systems while establishing reusable foundations and patterns that other engineering teams can adopt.
