Partner with regional Energy Ops and Strategy teams
Bring forth recommendations
Drive issues towards resolution
Support development of strategic energy sourcing opportunities
Manage portfolio of energy supply contracts
Manage carbon free energy purchase agreements
Act as a subject matter expert
Leverage opportunities
Develop market expertise
Understand structure and performance of Amazon’s global energy
Plan and drive execution of initiatives
Improve energy portfolio operations and management
Seek to invent and simplify
Achieve further scale effect
Identify and develop innovative initiatives and programs
Meet the org’s goals and success metrics
Report and analyze performance
Identify impacts to business units and customers
Formulate plans to address impacts
Work collaboratively with EPO and other teams
Deliver for AWS’ customers
Prioritize activities to support data center capacity delivery
Support data center availability and safety
Focus on most impactful actions
Work on projects locally and globally
