The nearly 500 colleagues of the Legal, Compliance & Public Affairs department assist with legal issues; promote compliance with law, regulation and standards of ethical conduct; address public policy issues crucial to our businesses; and provide risk-management support solutions. Through a shared vision and best practices, we provide efficient and sustainable solutions to meet internal customer business needs **We will count on you to:** The Senior Employment Counsel provides day-to-day advice and counselling to management, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and other lawyers on a full spectrum of labour and employment law matters, as well as restrictive covenant issues, confronting Marsh’s businesses. The position includes managing a full range of employment-related claims and litigation in the UK, the focus of the role, and also supporting the businesses in the EU and internationally, as well as working cooperatively internally. * Manage employment, restrictive covenant, and benefits-related claims and litigation, including dispute resolution, and manage outside counsel. * Provide legal advice and counsel to management and Human Resource professionals and assist other employment lawyers on a broad range of employment issues, including recruiting; hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; restructurings and redundancies; internal investigations; leaves of absence; compensation compliance; HR policies; independent contractors and contingent workers; mergers and acquisitions and transfers; and restrictive covenant matters. * Coordinate training and special projects. * Lead or participate in employment-related compliance initiatives. * Th
