BS in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related engineering disciplines, 8-12+ years of experience working as a firmware engineer, Experience working in a consulting capacity, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Background in electromechanical systems, Background in debugging hardware/firmware interaction, Working knowledge of microcontrollers and their common peripherals, Experience developing embedded software using C/C++, Experience using scripting languages to control embedded hardware, Experience using firmware development tools, Good source-code management, Experience with RTOS implementation, Working knowledge of embedded Linux, Comfortable writing firmware to directly control hardware resources

Nice to Have

Implementation of control algorithms, Understanding of control theory, Working knowledge of common regulatory standards, Understanding of medical device certification
