5+ years of hands-on experience in a research, fabrication, or test lab environment, Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, interconnects, and wiring diagrams and apply them at the bench, Proven experience soldering, reflowing, reworking, and repairing PCBAs to IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721)

Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). What You Will Be Doing You will work directly with the Electrical Engineering team to build, modify, debug, and sustain the low and high voltage electronics that enable Helion’s fusion machines to operate. You will support pulsed-energy drive systems, diagnostics, controls, and energy recovery hardware by hands-on assembly, wiring, instrumentation setup, and real-time troubleshooting in lab and production environments. You will be expected to independently execute complex bench-level work, identify hardware issues through measurement and observation, and partner with engineers to resolve problems quickly and safely in high-noise, high-field environments.
