Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in electronics design, Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, JD/PhD in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, US Citizen, 25% travel between sites: Indianapolis and West Lafayette, IN as needed for work
Nice to Have
Thorough understanding of factors influencing EMC emissions/immunity and mitigating techniques, Actively debug known EMCI problems deep dive into root causes, Familiar with MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461 and DO-160, Liaison with customer representatives and participation in design reviews and meetings, Experience conducting EMCI Tests and Test Automation (e. g. TILE or other), Analyze EMIC/Lightning environment with computational tools (e. g. EMC PLUS, EMA3D, FEKO, HFSS …)

## **Job Description** **Job Title: Senior****Electromagnetic Capability Engineer (EMC)** **Working Pattern: Full-time** **Working location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid Schedule 3 days in-office)** Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer provides MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 Avionics aircraft system and component level design oversight in EMC/EMI fields to include bonding, grounding, shielding, EMI prediction, EMI analysis, conducted and radiated interference, lightning protection and HIRF. In this role, you'll be a critical part to validating EMC compliance and primarily responsible for EMC design and test/verification for engine control system. In this role you may be involved at any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system.
