What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Existing rights to work in Brazil, Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Fluent in both written and verbal English, Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA), In depth experience on aircraft development programs, In depth experience on electromagnetic effects on aircraft
Nice to Have
In depth experience as FAA Compliance Verification Engineer with terms of approval relevant to the Electrical Systems and/or Avionic Systems disciplines, In depth experience on FAA regulatory and airworthiness requirements including (E)TSO FAR-25 requirements (relevant to the magnetic effects discipline), In depth experience of FAA Part 21 Design Organization (or equivalent), In depth experience on aircraft development programs, reviewing design with a high emphasis on electrical systems including, but not limited to: connectivity, antennae and electric loads, electronic equipment qualification per DO-160 and/or ARP5583A, ARP5415B, ARP60493, In depth experience in requirements management per ARP5415A or similar, In depth experience with Safety management per ARP4761, or similar, In depth experience with environmental effects related to magnetic threats such as High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), lightning direct and indirect effects, and precipitation static
