Job Description **Senior Electrical Engineer - Liquid Cooled Solution** **Silent Aire** **Who We Are** Silent Aire, part of Johnson Controls, is a global leader in designing and manufacturing mission‑critical custom air handlers and modular data centres for hyperscale cloud and colocation providers. We deliver high‑performance solutions that prioritise quality, scalability, and rapid deployment. **What You Will Do** As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will work on innovative large-scale liquid cooled solution and CDU Projects. You will collaborate with engineering managers, mechanical teams, and controls specialists to deliver electrical and controls design for custom air‑handling equipment used in mission‑critical environments. You will work closely with our Electrical Panel Manufacturing team to design bespoke electrical panel layouts and create high‑quality drawings that turn complex customer specifications into robust, safe, and scalable solutions. Your work contributes directly to the entire project lifecycle — from concept and design through manufacturing and final documentation. **How You Will Do It** * Work on large-scale modular liquid cooled solution and CDU projects * Analyse and interpret project specifications and drawings, ensuring full compliance with electrical and controls standards. * Develop detailed power distribution schematics using CAD tools, aligned with customer requirements and industry codes. * Produce controls schematics and electrical/control panel layouts for custom air-handling equipment. * Apply engineering theory and relevant codes to correctly size electrical components. * Carry out calculations including MCA, overcurrent protection, and amperage. * Select, assess, and specify electrical and control components, creating clear and accurate bills of materials. * Prepare detailed project submittal packages - drawings, data sheets, calculations, and product documentation. * Work collaboratively with mechanical and controls engineers to
