Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with eligible for registration with multiple provinces in Canada, 10+ years’ experience in electrical consulting, significant exposure to National Defence projects, Knowledge and application of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable industry and regulatory standards, Experience in a consulting engineering environment, managing time, resources, and budget allocations, client focus, Ability to obtain CISD Level II (SECRET) Clearance

### **Job Description** ## **Overview** AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team based in one of our available office locations in either Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto-GTA, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Calgary or Vancouver. In this role you will be responsible for the electrical design and execution of a wide variety of projects, with a focus on serving our National Defence Portfolio for upgrade and expansion of buildings and related base infrastructure across Canada. Subject matter expertise in electrical building systems including power utilities & distribution, grounding systems, lightning protection, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, communication, control systems and sustainable building initiatives will set you apart. Project experience should include training centers, vehicle and fleet maintenance, research laboratories, operational headquarters, personnel accommodation and ancillary facilities. Experience in the analysis of power distribution systems including short circuit studies, protective device coordination, arc flash & shock hazard, and power factor study & correction will be an additional asset. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and developing new clients, coordinating work with other offices and disciplines, and satisfying customer expectations and requirements.
