The Senior Electrical Engineer is expected to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders in the development of engineering drawings to meet client and regulatory requirements. This person will be an effective multi-tasker, highly organized with process documentation and will be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers and promoting a culture of collaboration within the department. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant. * Create designs specific to low voltage electrical switchgear assemblies/systems, replacement breakers, and related equipment mostly from scratch. * Effectively collaborate with the key stakeholders (mechanical engineers, production, purchasing, vendors, etc.) to develop complete drawings, submittals, and BOM packages that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements. * Work with QA and Testing group to develop and review testing plans. * Follow and develop standard design processes and documentations to improve quality and efficiency in engineering design. * Make changes and corrections in electrical design throughout the life of the product. * Effectively support other departments such as project management, production, and sales. * Detailed-oriented and organized in documentations. * Work closely and proactively with a hands-on approach with the production team to resolve identified issues quickly. * Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture o
