Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 5 or more years of experience as an electrical engineer and electrical systems designer, Understanding of electrical engineering safety standards, Previous exposure to electrical components vendors, PCB materials, and electronic packaging, Relevant experience overseeing the development of medical device projects, Experience working with external technical inspection firms for systems testing and certifications
Nice to Have
Experience with embedded systems or programming (C/C++, Python), Experience with Altium, Eagle, Allegro, or KiCAD, Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 60601, MOPP, and MOOP, Experience with a variety of power conversion architectures, mid and high speed signaling, protocols and architectures typical with mcu hardware, particularly ARM-based

Contribute to all stages of electrical design
from developing specifications and capturing schematics to PCB layout and testing prototypes
Participate in hardware selection
Specify and document circuit board requirements based on system requirements
Provide comprehensive documentation for PCB schematic diagrams and directions for PCBAs

Create and perform test procedures to verify functionality
Generate reports and associated documentation for regulatory submissions and meeting quality system requirements
Coordinate and oversee external electrical manufacturing and testing

Position Overview: The Advanced Product Team at Ceribell’s Research and Development Department is looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team! The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the design of next-generation medical devices. The ideal candidate will have outstanding problem-solving abilities and a strong proficiency in digital and analog electrical design. This position requires an on-site presence typically 3-5 days a week and is located in Sunnyvale, California.
