### **Job Description** ## Overview We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for nuclear facilities. This role requires deep technical expertise, project leadership, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex nuclear projects. ## Your role * Lead the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, instrumentation and control, and DC systems. * Perform engineering analyses such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective relay settings using industry-standard tools. * Manage electrical scope within nuclear projects, including estimates, schedules, progress tracking, and resource planning. * Prepare and review technical documentation, procurement specifications, and vendor proposals. * Ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. * Conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and oversee maintenance and repair activities. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training and development programs. * Develop emergency response plans for electrical system failures and support operational readiness. ## About you * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in the nuclear industry. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation. * Familiarity with nuclear regulatory requirements and safety standards.
