What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in safety, environmental health, industrial hygiene, or other related field with combined EHS experience, 5 - 7 years of experience in EHS is required, Experience in DEA regulated manufacturing, R&D and analytical environments is required, Knowledgeable of regulatory and industry standards (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, FM, NCDENR, ACGIH, NIOSH, ANSI, GMP, GLP, etc.), knowledge of Microsoft office suite of tools is required, On an average 8-hour day, this position requires the ability to walk, sit and stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or talk and hear, smell and lift up to 40 pounds

What You'll Do.

Develop and manage EHS programs

Conduct ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 internal audits

Coordinate and conduct industrial hygiene assessment processes

hazard assessments and investigations of violations

Conduct incident and accident investigations

Ensure regulatory compliance

Act as an emergency coordinator with authority to activate contingency plans and emergency procedures
