Full Job Description

Based in Washington, DC, the Senior eDiscovery Specialist will be responsible for promoting, training, and using current eDiscovery technology to support litigation matters across the firm. This role reports to the Manager, Global Practice Services. Responsibilities include: Engaging with legal teams and directly with clients. Serving as a subject matter expert for planning, design, development, application and implementation of technology and database systems such as Relativity, RelativityOne, OPUS2, and external SaaS document repositories/case management tools. Qualifications: Must be able to adhere to all Global Practice Services ("GPS") and Information Services ("IS") policies, procedures, best practices and guidelines. Must be self-motivated and able to quickly learn new software and eDiscovery workflows. Exercise good judgment and show initiative in resolving problems and completing assignments. Must be able to independently plan, organize, and prioritize a time-sensitive workload. Must work well under pressure and in a team environment. Demonstrated understanding of emerging AI technologies in eDiscovery, including the application of generative AI, technology-assisted review (“TAR”), and workflow automation tools to improve efficiency, quality control, and defensibility in litigation support operations. Advanced verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience: University degree is preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience as a litigation technology specialist in an AmLaw 25 law firm or Fortune 50 corporate legal department is required.
