What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Science, or technology related field, 1+ year control room operations experience, 1+ year gas/electric utility experience, 1+ year system protection experience, 1+ year military technical or nuclear training, High school diploma or equivalency degree with 3+ years experience, Investigative and documentation skills, Well-developed communication skills, High attention to detail, Proficiency with computers and computer applications, Willing and available to work rotating shifts, Successfully complete a personal risk assessment, Ability to prioritize tasks, Perform duties effectively under emergency situations, Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
1+ year of supervisory experience, Working knowledge of gas and electric distribution system operations
What You'll Do.
Oversee safe and reliable operation of gas and
Monitor and raise overall performance
testing and implementation of ADMS
Assist in development and implementation of policies
Establish and maintain communication channels with operating divisions
Supervise union employees within the control room
Maintain high level of proficiency in systems
Prioritize all work associated with the Electric Distribution
Keep informed of industry best practices
Provide assistance during major electric and gas emergency
Seek out new process improvements for Distribution System
