What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Three years of experience in workers’ compensation/FMLA administration, Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

Experience in a healthcare environment, Experience with Lawson, Experience with Kronos, Experience with Sedgwick, Project management experience

What You'll Do.

Oversee disability and workers’ compensation program

Act as liaison between internal partners and third-party administrator

Review records and investigate claims

Assist in evaluation of current offerings

Serve as point of contact for injured staff

Administer LOA and FMLA programs

Review current process flow

Make enhancements as appropriate

Perform FMLA/LOA/STD/WC administration

Respond to routine inquiries

Assist with billing past due insurance premiums

Draft and send correspondence

Manage vendor relationship

Develop training and educational materials

Maintain LOA intranet pages

Audit STD usage by staff

Counsel managers and staff on appropriate use of short-term disability

Collaborate to develop new policies and practices

Resolve complex situations

Counsel leaders on administering leave policies
