Must Have
Masters degree in Economics, Statistics, Demography and Quantitative Social Science, or related quantitative field, 10+ years of applied economics work, Demonstrated experience publishing data-driven narratives for non-academic audiences, Working knowledge of seasonal adjustment techniques, Comfortable being the quoted expert, Fluency to write and understand SQL, Know how to optimize SQL performance
Nice to Have
PhD preferred, Experience with driving behavior datasets, Prior experience setting up a data storytelling function from scratch

Collaborate with Product
Align on what data infrastructure investments unlock the
Build relationships with internal and external subject-matter experts
Surface exclusive insights and anecdotes
Maintain newsroom-grade standards of accuracy
