What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of construction management experience, background in infrastructure (power, substation, civil, utilities) construction management, Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget, Deep understanding of construction sequencing, design coordination, and field execution, Ability to anticipate and prevent problems through proactive planning and direct communication, commercial acumen — skilled at evaluating bids, negotiating with contractors, and managing change orders, Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Nice to Have
experience with power generation projects, especially natural gas plants or large electrical interconnection infrastructure
What You'll Do.
Oversee all phases of infrastructure construction across multiple large-scale powered land and data center development sites nationwide
and contract negotiations for general contractors
and major equipment vendors
Direct field execution — ensuring schedule
and quality standards are met across all active projects
Review and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents to identify risks
resolve design conflicts
and anticipate issues before they escalate
Lead contractor and vendor onboarding
ensuring alignment on scope
and performance expectations
Change management - Ensure cost and schedule impacts are fully validated and justified
Coordinate closely with internal teams such as development
and finance to ensure construction aligns with project and business objectives
Establish and maintain project controls — progress reporting
Develop and enforce consistent standards for construction management
and quality assurance across all sites
Act as the company’s on-site lead when required
