ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior DevOps Lead to take ownership of our infrastructure and lead our transition from purely external DevOps services to a hybrid internal & external team model. This is a critical leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and the ability to roll up your sleeves—you'll spend 30% of your time leading and mentoring a team of 9 contractors with varying skill levels and 50% architecting and implementing solutions yourself, with 20% for high-level thinking and operational planning. Ideal candidates have a strong background in network and *nix systems operations and software engineering, and have settled into DevOps as their current passion. You'll report directly to the VP of Engineering and have an immediate impact on infrastructure stability, security posture, and operational excellence across our AWS-based platform.
