Data Intellect is building a new, specialist Trade Surveillance team in Belfast, forming a key part of a rapidly expanding, high-growth practice area within the organisation. This team operates in a consulting-led model, delivering complex, mission-critical solutions for world leading global investment banks, hedge funds, regulators and exchanges. As part of this, you will have the opportunity to work on international client engagements across New York, London, and APAC, gaining exposure to some of the most sophisticated financial technology environments in the world, with potential opportunities to travel. You will receive comprehensive training on a specialised trade surveillance product stack, enabling you to quickly develop deep expertise while working directly on client systems. The role combines data engineering depth with client-facing responsibility, requiring individuals who can both solve complex technical challenges and operate effectively within enterprise stakeholder environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will act as a trusted technical consultant, bridging client infrastructure teams and internal engineering, and taking ownership of platform implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the technical lead between clients and engineering teams, delivering enterprise platform solutions * Deploy, manage, and optimise containerised applications using Kubernetes and Helm * Design scalable, secure infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments using IaC tools * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, driving automation and release consistency * Administer Kubernetes clusters, managing orchestration, scaling, and performance * Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure system reliability * Troubleshoot complex
