As a DevOps Engineer, you will own the reliability, scalability, and security of the systems that power financial transactions for customers across multiple countries. You'll work at the intersection of engineering and operations, enabling our product and backend teams to ship fast without breaking things. This role sits within the Engineering team and reports directly to the Engineering Lead. You'll be a foundational hire on our infrastructure function, with the opportunity to define tooling, standards, and culture from the ground up. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated deployments across environments - Manage and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS (and/or GCP), including networking, compute, storage, and security configurations - Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi, ensuring reproducible and version-controlled environments - Own observability: set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus - Collaborate closely with backend, mobile, and security engineers to ensure infrastructure supports product velocity
