What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 7+ years of progressively complex related experience, An understanding of DevOps principles, Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services including Airflow / Google Cloud ComposerVertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Storage (GCS), Pub/Sub, and IAM, Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, experience with Kubernetes ecosystem, including Helm, Exposure to deployment tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins and overall CI and CD knowledge, Managing databases including MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Couchbase, Monitoring tools including cloud logging, splunk, and NewRelic, Scripting languages such as bash/shell and Python, Experience with project management software such as Jira, Good documentation skills, Unquestionable integrity and ethics
Nice to Have
Amazon Web Services and other cloud technologies is a plus
What You'll Do.
Build and strengthen the DevOps foundations for Data Engineering
and Data Science teams
and maintain scalable
highly available infrastructure and data systems
Lead DevOps initiatives with a focus on the GCP cloud ecosystem
and maintain CI/CD pipelines and internal release systems
Drive CI/CD strategy with emphasis on reliability
and continuous improvement
and operational workflows
Continuously analyze and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines and environments
and resolve production issues
Build tools and automation to eliminate repetitive tasks
Plan and support scaling of data infrastructure and capacity
Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
