What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years in progressively complex software engineering roles, Proven experience implementing platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling solutions
Nice to Have
Experienced at end-to-end delivery of internal engineering systems - from discovery and tech approach definition to rollout and iteration., Expertise in scoping and delegating work to teammates., Microservices deployment on Kubernetes (AWS, GCP, Azure), with various strategies (canary, blue-green, etc. ), Building and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) to automate testing and deployment., GitOps, ArgoCD, local dev and build tooling (such as Gradleazel), Experience supporting developer experience (DevEx) tooling, Scripting and automation, specific for release and build management

Building and maintaining standardized CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
Supporting the adoption of ephemeral environments and streamlined local development tooling
Driving automation across build
and deployment workflows
Implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and infrastructure
Enabling teams to integrate component and end-to-end testing
Contributing to the reliability
and scalability of testing systems
Providing tooling and infrastructure for quality ownership
Integrating AI-based tools and workflows into the developer experience
Identifying and implementing practical use cases for AI
Supporting automation of routine engineering tasks
Building and enhancing core components of the developer platform
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in developer workflows and platform performance
Supporting data collection for developer productivity and platform performance metrics
Developing scripts and lightweight tooling to automate platform capabilities and workflows
Supporting engineering teams in adopting platform tooling and workflows
