Must Have
Experience using one or more development languages (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, C#, etc.), Experience in object-oriented programming, Ability to contribute to decisions on when to refactor, replatform, re-architect or replace, and to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, product partners and delivery stakeholders, Support technical decision-making by relating modernisation choices to business goals, delivery risk and customer value, Skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code, Comfortable with Object-Oriented programming, Comfortable with Agile methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and/or Kanban
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and Docker

Collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts
Project Managers to design software solutions
Write clean and iterative code
Assess legacy systems
including architecture
operational risk and dependencies
Identify pragmatic modernisation options aligned to agreed business goals
Help delivery teams reduce legacy risk by improving testability
observability and recovery practices before and during migration
Drive the AI-first software delivery strategy by strategically integrating and utilizing AI tools throughout the development lifecycle
Create large-scale distributed systems out of microservices
Apply the latest technology thinking to solve client problems
Efficiently utilize DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software
Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to deployment
Act as a mentor for less-experienced peers

*Due to the nature of the projects and specific client security clearance, this role requires the successful candidate to be a Singapore Citizen or PR of Singapore Senior Software Developers collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers and more to design software solutions that will create meaningful change for our clients.
