Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, 5 years of experience working in data engineering or architecture role, Hands-on Snowflake experience, Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used within Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java, Experience in AWS, hands-on work building and operating data pipelines using services such as S3, IAM, EC2/ECS, Lambda, or Glue, Expertise with an orchestration platform such as Airflow, Proficiency in Software Development & CI/CD, Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
Nice to Have
7+ years of experience, Experience with dbt (models, tests, documentation), Exposure to machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics

**Job Description** **Position Summary:** Senior Database Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from the organization's connected data, enabling the organization to advance the data-driven decision-making capabilities of the organization's enterprise. This role requires deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows. The ideal candidate is a skilled data / software engineer with experience creating data products supporting analytic solutions.
