10+ years’ experience supporting supporting/managing multiple, high volume, large multi-terabyte production databases, Advanced database management skills, Database monitoring, Performance tuning, Capacity proven experience implementing and supporting SQL Tuning, Backup and recovery, UNIX shell scripting, SQL skills, Experience managing infrastructure systems, server, storage, network, Working knowledge of AWS Public cloud, RDS, Aurora, Cloud watch, Splunk, Working knowledge of Data Warehouse (DW), BI Reporting, Knowledge of Data modeling, pros and cons of normalization, Knowledge of CI/CD automations, Database deployment tools

Come join the excellence! ## ## Overview • This role requires strong technical expertise in the areas of Database administration in both on-prem data centers and AWS cloud and provide L3 production support. This Sr DBA role is responsible for development and administration of software systems utilizing both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL Server) and no-SQL databases by collaborating with various internal teams including Global System Admins, Product development, QA, DevSecOps teams. ## ## **Responsibilities** * Must have hands on Database expertise, must serve as a go-to-DBA * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Must work independently with minimum supervision * Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and patch various RDBMS databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MicroSoft SQL Server in traditional on-prem set up as well in AWS public cloud. * Provide technical guidance on large, complex database projects. * Write and maintain Unix shell scripts to facilitate and automate database administration tasks. * Review space reports, responding to non-critical requests for assistance, and manage data backups and restores. * Serve as primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting of database management issues. * Perform problem resolution for complex issues including root cause analysis, status updates, and outline resolution options. * Design and test Disaster Recovery scenarios. * Review and establish policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management. * Proactively monitor production databases to circumvent potential problems and errors. * Perform continuous quality improvements by learning new technologies, product trends and/or database administration techniques * Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation to executive team,
