What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise environments, Fluent in English, Oracle Administration, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Exadata, SQL Server Always On Clustering, RMAN backup and recovery, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEMCC), Database migrations and cloud modernization projects, High availability and disaster recovery architectures, Performance tuning and query optimization, Database security, encryption, and access management, IT infrastructure troubleshooting and systems analysis, Experience supporting mission-critical production environments
Nice to Have
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Certified Specialist, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure cloud infrastructure and PaaS services, Scripting and automation, Middleware integration and database connectivity, Cross-platform database migration experience

Develop automation scripts and operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Conduct regular disaster recovery testing and validate failover procedures
Maintain technical documentation

Senior Database Administrator: QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator / Cloud Database Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Azure Cloud SQL environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing high-availability database infrastructures, disaster recovery strategies, cloud migrations, and performance optimization across enterprise environments. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support mission-critical production systems in both on-premises and cloud platforms.
