Deep theoretical and applied knowledge in at least one of the following areas: traditional machine learning, statistical modeling, causal inference and deep learning, Extensive experience with the end-to-end predictive/prescriptive model development cycle, from problem definition to productionalization and maintenance, data modeling and SQL skills, Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Dagster) and cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure), Extensive experience using the Python ML and DS ecosystem, Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Working knowledge of agile development, Change management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, presentation skills in communicating with experts and non-experts alike

Experience in building recommendation systems at scale, PhD in a scientific discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field

Data Science, Machine Learning, and Experimentation are key drivers of Glovo’s customer engagement strategy. Data scientists own the core models that optimize Glovo’s user retention and loyalty. These include our recommendations and personalization engines, which drive millions of euros annually in incremental revenue. As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly impact Glovo’s ability to maximize user engagement, retention, and overall lifetime value.
