What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of experience in data engineering or backend/data platform roles, proven track record in core infrastructure engineering, strong hands-on experience with streaming systems (especially Apache Kafka and Confluent), experience with CDC tools like Debezium, extensive experience with GCP (BigQuery), experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Spark, Flink), proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, experience supporting data scientists, experience operationalizing ML pipelines and MLOps workflows, understanding of real-time data processing, commitment to high standards for data quality, observability, and reliability, positive, high-energy attitude, desire to work in a close-knit, collaborative team, willingness to learn fast, willingness to take ownership of pending OKRs
Nice to Have
Experience in logistics, mobility, or marketplace platforms, Exposure to feature stores, Exposure to online inference systems, Exposure to real-time ML, Experience with data observability tools

Design and build real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka
Develop CDC-based ingestion pipelines with Debezium
Drive a mission-critical initiative to ensure high standards for data quality
Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize workflows
Build scalable data models required for logistics optimization and experimentation
Support the logistics domain with reliable
well-documented datasets
Maintain world-class infrastructure
