Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in computer science, computer technology or related field, 5 + years experience in software development with involvement in the Data Engineering field, Experience with Event Driven Architecture, Experience with Data Streaming, Experience with Big Data, Very good experience in NoSql, Ability to write SQL, Demonstrable experience with high-volume data loads, Understanding of ETL processing, Understanding of Event Modelling, Understanding of Data Lake, Understanding of Dimensional Data Modelling, Understanding of Data Composition, Understanding of Data Governance, Understanding of Data Warehouse, Designing and Applying Schema, Experience with Schema-on-write, Experience with Schema-on-read, Experience with log-based messaging systems, Experience with Cassandra, Experience with map-reduce technology, Experience with PySpark, Understanding of stream processing frameworks, Good understanding of BI reporting, Good experience with AWS data services, Demonstrable experience of object oriented in either Python or Java, Unit testing knowledge and practice, Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools, Good English language skills
