What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years experience as Data Engineer, Experience with modern Cloud Data Stacks, Very good knowledge in AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, EC2, EKS/ECS), Mandatory experience with Terraform, Proficient experience with Databricks and Apache Spark, Proficient experience with dbt and Airbyte, Very good knowledge in Python and/or SQL, Structured, independent work style with strong engineering focus, Fluent German and English
Nice to Have
Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools, Knowledge of Data Vault or Medallion Architecture, Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (e.g., Redshift), Experience with financial data (e.g., broker or customer data)

Developing and continuously improving AWS infrastructure
Managing the Databricks environment
Optimizing Spark pipelines and workflows
Developing the Data Platform (architecture
