What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science, Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls), Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory, Experience working in operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Nice to Have
Experience in data center engineering, Knowledge of BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending
What You'll Do.
Operate and maintain AWS DCs’ world-class mechanical and
Oversee facility operations
Ensure implementation of safety procedures
Support electrical and mechanical equipment
Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
Operate and maintain emergency generator equipment
Operate and maintain HVAC equipment
Operate and maintain fire/life safety equipment
Troubleshoot facility events
Troubleshoot rack-level events
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
reducing operational costs
Take daily operational readings
Supervise contractors performing servicing
Supervise contractors performing preventive maintenance
