Must Have
4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, product analytics, or data analysis, Demonstrated, hands-on experience building a data warehouse or reporting database entirely from scratch, proficiency in SQL, extensive experience structuring and managing BigQuery, Proven ability to build, manage, and scale ETL or ELT data pipelines, Deep understanding of event-based analytics, direct experience with GA4 to BigQuery exports, Expertise in data modeling for analytics, ability to create reporting-ready datasets for BI tools, Experience working with APIs, webhooks, or scheduled data syncs, Exceptional documentation, data governance, and data QA habits
Nice to Have
Experience with Looker Studio, Looker Studio Pro, or other white-label reporting platforms, Familiarity with modern data tools and scripting languages such as Python, Zapier, or Google Cloud Functions, Experience defining GA4 event taxonomies, working with Google Tag Manager, Background in SaaS reporting, client-facing dashboards, or multi-tenant analytics, Familiarity with marketing platforms, CMS tools (like Sanity CMS), marketing automation systems (like Mailchimp), or POS systems, Prior experience in hospitality, retail, CPG, loyalty, rebates, or campaign attribution reporting
