What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Consulting role, 5+ years of experience working in the Data/SaaS space, A understanding of two or more of the following areas: data governance, AI governance, data catalogs, data quality, and data privacy platforms, Experience across a broad range of sales and business methodologies, including value-based selling, cost-benefit analysis, ROI analysis, and process and project management, Proven experience with leading PaaS providers, data lakes, databases, ML/GenAI tools, and integration platforms is required, A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required

Nice to Have

Experience in regulatory compliance is a plus

Joining Collibra’s Customer Engineering team We are shaping how some of the world's largest organizations manage data by helping them connect the right data and insights for all Data Citizens. We are building a team of exceptional people to help us deliver on that promise. As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will be the guiding force behind bringing Collibra's product and vision to customers and prospects. Responsible for driving net-new business, championing account expansions, and helping to secure renewals, you will establish trusted relationships from day one and serve as a thoughtful technical advisor. As a Senior Customer Engineer supporting the Southern European team, you will be responsible for maintaining technical relationships with customers throughout their entire journey, both pre- and post-sale. You will play an essential and highly respected role within Collibra's sales organization. This is a remote role based in Madrid. Customer Engineers at Collibra are responsible for Mapping solutions to business value for large, dynamic customers by seamlessly bridging technical requirements and strategic business goals. Participating in discovery sessions, driving the qualification of new opportunities, and expanding existing accounts. Preparing and conducting product demonstrations, highlighting how the Collibra Platform solves our enterprise customers' specific needs. Advising and supporting technical stakeholders to accelerate adoption and value realization, serving as the primary point of contact for all technical and product-related queries. Identifying, recommending, and executing value-based workshops, Proof of Concepts, and Proof of Value engagements. Preparing and providing expert input for the functional and technical sections of RFPs and RFQs. Supporting broader sales and marketing activities, including webcasts, field enablement, and the creation of go-to-market assets.
