Full Job Description
## RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Critical Facilities Technician (Sr. CFT) is responsible for all aspects of data center operations related to critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This lead role will help set the standard of operating with an unwavering attitude and commitment to safety and reliability within the Data Center. The Sr. CFT will drive continual improvements to the operational excellence of the data center by leading by example by adhering to company standards and industry best practices. They will have a mindset of ongoing learning and development, and will be responsible for daily hands-on training and development of junior technicians. They will be required to complete Level I training within 30 days of employment, and Level II training within 60 days of employment. As a member of the company’s Facilities team, the Sr. CFT will be responsible for providing field level technical expertise and program management for the maintenance and operation of the site infrastructure and base building support systems. This individual should be prepared to stand-in and assume a supervisory role in the absence of the CFM and/or ACFM as required Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems Assist the CFM/ACFM to lead the CFT team to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls Responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in mechanical and electrical support systems related to maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily operation including: power distribution systems, emergency power, HVAC, heat rejection systems, fire alarm, and suppression systems Provide training and expertise for using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage all planned and unplanned data center work Assist with all preventive maintenance inspections on data center electrical and mec
