Must Have
law firm and in-house public company securities, corporate governance, and vendor contracts negotiation experience, 2-3+ years experience practicing corporate law in an AmLaw 200 firm and/or in-house at a public company, Experience working with vendor contracts and AI tools, Experience working at or with a publicly traded company, Bachelor degree and JD degree from an accredited law school, Bar admission in good standing
Nice to Have
insurance or other financial services company preferred, Experience with startups and/or tech companies is a plus, global experience, New York preferred, Preference for ability to work in the NYC office most days of the week
What You'll Do.
support the Company’s corporate governance
corporate record keeping
and public company reporting and compliance efforts
and minutes for Board and committee meetings
review and file regulatory filings for state insurance and secretary of state departments
Review SEC filings including Form 8-K
Review press releases
investor presentations
and other public announcements for compliance with SEC and regulatory requirements
Drive process efficiencies by building AI tools that streamline projects and day-to-day operations
and negotiate vendor contracts
such as SaaS agreements
professional services agreements
and marketing agreements
Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with proposed transactions

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with law firm and in-house public company securities, corporate governance, and vendor contracts negotiation experience to join our Legal team. Working in our New York City office and reporting to our Associate General Counsel, Corporate, you’ll work directly with teams across the company and across the globe, including finance, investor relations, communications, compliance, and procurement.
