At Wisk, we're transforming the future of urban mobility through safe, all-electric, autonomous flight. We are a passionate team working together toward a sustainable future, solving high-impact problems that have never been solved before. By delivering everyday flight for everyone, we're making it possible to spend less time getting there and more time being there. If you want to be part of shaping the future of mobility, then read on! We are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to join our Control Laws Development Team. The goal of this team at Wisk is to design, implement and analyze controls algorithms, state estimation methods, and self-flying autonomous software. You will model and create software that runs on prototype and full scale airplanes, as well as ultimately supporting the flight tests of those new algorithms. Additionally, you will be part of the Aircraft IPT organization, which is responsible for developing and delivering a safe autonomous flight vehicle by following standard aviation certification processes, performing rigorous testing and utilizing formal controls analysis techniques. This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. What you will do: * You will take part in developing flight software models and improving existing models within the Control Laws Development Team. * As part of the Aircraft IPT, you will support such groups as the Aerodynamics, Structures, Stability&Control, and Vehicle Management Software Teams. * You will support problem solving activities following flight tests on our Subscale prototype vehicle, in which you will improve control law algorithms after reviewing the flight test data. * You will help coordinate analysis activities to support verification of design requirements for satisfying software certification objectives. * You will take part in developing new GNC tools using software best practices in
