Must Have

Extensive experience in senior contract management within defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated commercial sectors, supporting multiple business units simultaneously., Confident handling of complex, non‑standard, and highly negotiated contractual frameworks, including government, defence, export-controlled, and major commercial agreements., Proven track record of leading multi‑party contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms while managing legal, commercial, regulatory, and operational risk., Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage concurrent negotiations, contract reviews, and strategic support across diverse product and business portfolios., Highly effective communicator with influencing and stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage credibly with senior leadership, programme teams, technical experts, customers, suppliers, and legal counsel., Understanding of contract law and its practical application, including defence contracting principles, compliance obligations, export controls, flow‑down requirements, and contractual governance., Advanced competence in drafting, analysing, and interpreting complex contractual documents, including T&Cs, amendments, subcontract frameworks, teaming agreements, and government‑mandated clauses.

A Law degree or equivalent legal qualification., Proven track record in dispute resolution and claims management
