Travel up to 25% annually, both domestically and internationally, Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, if required, Must be a U. S. citizen, Pass a pre-employment drug screen

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline with 15+ years of Contracts experience, or a Master's degree or JD with 13+ years of experience, Expert knowledge of FAR and DFARS, working knowledge of CAS, Ability to contribute to strategy development, lead strategic initiatives supporting functional and business objectives, Exceptional communication and presentation skills, Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, if required, Must be a U. S. citizen

Nice to Have

Professional certifications such as CCM, CFCM, or CPCM, Extensive experience negotiating multi-million-dollar defense contracts with the U. S. Government, international governments, and major Defense/Aerospace contractors, Experience with U. S. Navy/Marine Corps and U. S. Army contracts is highly desirable

What You'll Do.

Ensure contract compliance with FAR and DFARS

Ensure ITAR compliance for international contracts

Support capture efforts and proposal development

Review proposals for compliance and risk

Provide oversight of contractual negotiations

Interact with management and customer leadership

Prepare and present contractual terms analyses

Provide data for DCMA/DCAA inquiries

Contribute to organizational vision and objectives

Evaluate and improve existing processes

Provide technical contractual guidance

Communicate contractual risks and alternatives

Apply global business perspective

Identify future infrastructure enhancements

How You'll Work.

Interact with management; Interact with customer/supplier leadership; Interact with U.S. Government representatives; Provide broad technical contractual guidance to internal customers

Exceptional communication and presentation skills; Communicate results, contractual risks, and mitigation alternatives concisely, both verbally and in writing
